Common Fears Women Face in Life and How to Overcome Them

While primitive humans dealt with the fear of wild animals, today’s humans are consumed with the need to tackle internal issues disguised as fear. Regardless of gender, race, and age, women all over the world have fears and weaknesses. When it comes to fear, it can be anything - a driver, a companion, or an obstacle and it all depends on how you tackle it. The following are four common fears women face in life and ways you can overcome them.

1. Fear of Not Being Liked
This fear is often developed from childhood. Unlike boys who engage in competitive games, girls are groomed to play games that require cooperation like ‘tea parties’ and ‘dollhouse’. As a result, the desire to be liked is more intense in girls than the desire to win.

The first thing to note here is that you can never be liked by everyone no matter how hard you try. So, rather than strive to be a people pleaser, focus on living life with good intentions, and the people who are meant to be in your life will remain.

2. Fear of Getting Old
Let's be honest, practically every woman goes through this, and it takes a lot of confidence and effort to overcome this fear. You can't really lay all the blame on women when it comes to associating beauty with youth, they are not spared. The beauty industry also rides on this fear by blowing up TV screens and filling supermarket shelves with products that promise to keep the skin glowing and youthful. There is one thing that we can all struggle with and come to terms with when it comes to getting old and that is your appearance. Whether you worry about fine lines and wrinkles, in some cases hair loss, and generally not looking like your youthful self, it can get you down. But there are things to remember that you can do such as looking into a or FUE hair transplant even thinking about a skincare routine to combat the common signs of aging. Although it isn't the end of the world. While youth is beautiful, you should also remember that there is beauty in getting old. Accept the aging process and don’t let it stop you from living your life as it is nothing but a natural cycle that everyone must pass through.

3. Fear of Being Alone
While women are proud of their independence, loneliness is a feeling they do not want to be associated with. It is this fear that pushes women to try everything within their power to compromise and save failing relationships. Most ladies dream of starting a family at a certain age and when those plans fall through, they start to panic.

What you have to remember is that very little can be achieved by worrying about the future. Even more, if starting a family is what you really want, you should know that times have changed and there's more than one way to procreate. The options range from adopting to egg donation. So, relax, go out and live life to the fullest.

4. Fear of Sacrifice
In almost every culture, the woman is viewed as a pillar that binds a family together and this notion has left many career-oriented women questioning their decisions. Rather than letting the guilt have a field day, conquer this fear using proper time management and learn to live in the moment.

When you are with your family, avoid other distractions from work, and commit to creating loving memories with them. Many women are slowly accepting the fact that they can build both a career and manage a family, but all this is only possible if you learn to create a balance.
