Have A Very Merry Christmas With A Prestige Luxury Hamper*

*This is a collaborative post*

When I heard that Prestige Hampers were looking for bloggers to work with this Christmas, I literally jumped at the chance. A post about Christmas and a gorgeous luxury hamper!? Who would say no to that? It was a no brainer! :)

I have to say that I've never before received a hamper in all my thirty five years, so this was a first and I didn't really know what to expect other then a wicker type basket.

The week it was due to arrive, I joked with our postman that he was going to need muscles as I was expecting a largish delivery. We have a bit of an ongoing joke about my steady stream of blogger parcels. The following day, sure enough a large box did arrive and the postman's face was a picture. (I'm seriously always having to apologise to him!)

The girls at work were excited to see it too so I immediately tore into the huge cardboard box to see what the hamper looked like. I was delighted when I caught a glimpse of a traditional wicker basket! It was even prettier in real life than it looked on the website.

Once out the cardboard, it took me a moment to figure out how to actually get into the hamper, but on turning what I called 'the front twizzly bits,' I was in. I'm sure these do have a valid, more 'technical' name so insert another word of choice if preferred... :)

Hidden within the hand woven wicker basket was a collection of the finest products, fine wines and savoury goodies;

Water Stop Station Chardonnay 75cl,
Water Stop Station Shiraz 75cl,
Red Velvet Crunch Biscuits 150g,
English Breakfast Tea 40g,
Milk, White and Dark Chocolate Classics 120g,
Shortbread Festive Shapes 60g,
Matthew Walker Classic Christmas Pudding 100g,
Iced Fruit Cake 400g,
Dark Chocolate Bar 60g,
Mackays Christmas Marmalade 113g,
Mackays Christmas Preserve 113g,
Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella Yorkshire Crisps 100g,
Handmade Smoked Oatcakes 125g.

I honestly don't know how Prestige managed to cram so many items into one basket. I took all the items out to arrange them for the photos, and when I was done, I struggled getting everything back in.

There's literally something in this hamper for everyone in the family whether it be the kids, the parents or the grandparents. Any recipient would surely be thrilled with such a beautiful gift. I'm actually gifting mine to my BF's parents this year and I'm sure they'll love it.

This particular hamper was not only given just the GirlGoneDreamer seal of approval but it was also approved by Good Housekeeping 2017! As the Prestige website describes, this 'Traditional Gift Basket' is a true Christmas classic. No wonder Good Housekeeping love it too.

If you're still looking for Christmas gift ideas or are perhaps after a hamper, then I highly recommend you head on over to Prestige Hampers for a peruse. There's various styles to choose from and if you're super quick, you'll be able to get one whilst they're still at a reduced price. Of course if you don't want a large hamper like the one featured in this post which is currently £64.99, there's also smaller style gift box hampers that might be more your cup of tea. Prices for these start from around £19.99.

Are you all set for Christmas yet? Our tree has gone up at home (a real one) but I've yet to write my Christmas cards. I'm usually the first to send cards out so I'm running late this year and someone has beaten me to it! Arrgghh! I blame blogging which appears to have taken over my entire life of late ha ha! New mantra: I will find time to get everything done!

*With thanks to Prestige Hampers for gifting me this absolutely beautiful item.
