Dating In Northamptonshire*

*This is a collaborative post*

In my last post I suggested some dating ideas for singles based in Suffolk. Today I'm going to share three more dating ideas but I'll be focusing on the area of Northamptonshire.
Steeped in history and featuring some of the most beautiful villages, - two of which were featured in the 2014 Sunday Times Best Places to Live List, - Northamptonshire is a popular choice if you're looking to relocate. If you're planning a visit to the area then be sure to check out some of the venues below.

If you're single and haven't found that special someone yet then don't panic. Virtual dating is fast becoming the new norm and there's a whole host of dating apps and websites to choose from such as eHarmony, Match, Elite and dating agency Northamptonshire. No matter your preference there's a website to suit everyone. For those who are over sixty, why not try one of the mature dating apps designed specifically with you in mind? It's never too late to fall in love, you just need to know where to look and you'll find plenty of like minded senior singles on these particular websites. If you're over sixty, single and living in Northamptonshire then head on over to the Northamptonshire dating site.

1. For The History Lovers

If you're both partial to a bit of history then Rockingham Castle is a must. It used to be a royal castle and was ordered to be built by none other than William the Conqueror in about 1070. Now home to the Saunders Watson family, people from all over the world can visit to appreciate its history and magnificent views. Take the castle tour, explore the gardens and then finally enjoy something to eat in the tea rooms. Don't forget to check out the gift shop for a souvenir!

2. If You Love A Bargain...

I love a good car boot sale, who doesn't? My boyfriend and I have found many a bargain over the years from the various car boot sales we've been to. Often there would be a refreshments van nearby too which mean't we could grab a hot drink and a burger for lunch. Northamptonshire offers a few car boots to choose from such as Holcot Car Boot and Farmers' Market which runs every Saturday from April to October. Don't forget to take plenty of loose change with you.

3. If You Feel The Need For Speed

If you love motor sport then you need look no further than The British Grand Prix. A household name, the Silverstone motor racing circuit sits on the Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire border, near the villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury. If you don't want to just watch the sport then why not try a driving experience instead? Depending on your personalities it could make for quite a competitive date so be warned. The Drive Silverstone Supercar Experience features a safety briefing, an instructor demo, three sessions in three different cars and then a performance debrief. Count me in.

As always, feel free to share your own dating ideas and experiences with me over on Twitter!
